Now that we’ve all gotten a chance to recuperate after the SEMA 2016 show, it’s time to get back to business.
Dave and Gurnade were very pleased with the response they received from their Hyundai Veloster and Tucson builds. The Veloster, which spent a majority of its time front and center in Hyundai’s booth, received a lot of attention. Hyundai created hero cards for all of the Hyundai sponsored builds. After the show came to a finish, the Veloster stayed behind as Hyundai had a few shows planned for it, including the LA Auto Show, November 18-27.
The Hyundai Tucson spent its time at SEMA located in the Toyo Tires booth. The Tucson made its way back to the east coast the Monday following SEMA, and it has already made a trip to Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology where Dave is a Collision Repair Instructor. Not only did Dave get to share his build with his students, but campus tour attendees caught a glimpse of the vehicle as well. In the future the Tucson may be on display in a few Hyundai showrooms, as Gurnade and Dave have been organizing a display setup with Hyundai dealerships in the area.
After a little down time Dave is back to work and is already thinking about next year!
